HCNW’s primary goals are to assist low-to-moderate-income individuals and families in achieving homeownership, building assets, and becoming more self-sufficient. HCNW has primarily addressed these goals by the continuous development of single-family homes. Constructing new and rehabilitating existing homes in Tacoma, Lakewood and Pierce County has not only provided homes for first time LMI purchasers, but assisted local jurisdictions in achieving increased housing density, improved access to transportation and other services, and compliance with evolving land use considerations and rules.

To meet the needs of more low-to-moderate-income individuals and families, HCNW is offering handicap accessible homes, multi-generational housing options, and more efficient floor-plans for veterans, seniors and young families alike.
