The Homeownership Center of Tacoma (HCT) is a community-based, non-profit corporation established in 1993 whose mission is to foster neighborhood revitalization through homeownership.
HCT builds quality new homes, refurbishes existing homes, and makes homeownership affordable by providing a no interest, no payment second mortgage that ensures monthly payments are tailored to the household's income instead of the purchase price of the home.
HCT offers this unique and exciting financing program, throughout the city of Tacoma for homes that we have constructed or have refurbished, to modest-income home buyers that have not owned a home during the past three years.
